In-person Kindergarten Registration Information:

For new students who did not attend Rowan County Preschool:

Step 1:  Complete Online Registration by clicking This Link.

Step 2:  Gather the required documents as listed and turn them in at one of the above Kindergarten Registration dates or to Renee Smith at the Rowan County Board of Education: (You may complete Online Registration before gathering all of these forms, but they must be turned in by the first day of school.)

• Copy of birth certificate or proof of birth

• Current physical on this form: Ky School Physical Form

• Immunization Certificate on this form: Immunization Certificate

• Dental Exam performed after the age of 5 on this form: Dental Exam Form

• Vison Exam on this form:  Eye Exam Form

• Copy of Social security card (optional, but required to receive KEES Scholarship money)

Step 3: Contact the appropriate school for your next steps. If you are unsure of which school your child will attend,  contact the Board of Education at 606-784-8928 for assistance.

For students who did attend Rowan County Preschool (excludes Gateway Headstart):

Step 1:  Please ensure you have turned in the following documents to the preschool before continuing with kindergarten registration.

• Copy of birth certificate or proof of birth

• Current physical on this form: Ky School Physical Form

• Immunization Certificate on this form: Immunization Certificate

• Dental Exam performed after the age of 5 on this form: Dental Exam Form

• Vison Exam on this form:  Eye Exam Form

• Copy of Social security card (optional, but required to receive KEES Scholarship money)

Step 2:  Complete registration by logging into parent portal using the link below.  You may also complete the registration through the Campus Parent app on your phone (Download on Apple App Store or Google Play Store). If you need assistance with your username/password, please contact your child's school.

2. Click More in the menu

3. Click Online Registration and follow the prompts for existing students.
