Rowan County Schools will be hosting a Kindergarten Academy at each elementary school for students enrolled in kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. Students and families will get the opportunity to meet school staff, learn about their schools routines/procedures and practice readiness skills prior to the first day of school. All kindergartners are encouraged to attend.
Location: McBrayer, Rodburn, Clearfield, and Tilden Hogge Elementary (students should attend the school where they are enrolled)
Date: Tuesday, July 30, 2024- Friday, August 2, 2024 Time: 8:00am- 11:30am each day
Important Information:
➔ Doors will open beginning at 7:30am each morning.
➔ Parent pickup is at 11:30am, bus delivery will begin at 11:30am.
➔ Breakfast will be served 7:40am-8:00am each morning.
➔ Lunch will be served each day at 11:00am.
➔ Transportation will be provided each day, contact your schools front office prior to
July 11 to sign up for bus pickup.
➔ Parent Orientation: Each school will host a parent orientation meeting on Wed.,
July 31, 2024 at 8:30am. This will give parents an opportunity to meet administrators, school nurses, bus garage staff, etc. Administrators will be able to answer any questions you may have concerning Kindergarten prior to the start of the school year.
